No Words

I can not speak to you about this anymore. There’s no new words to be found. It’s the same old verses, the same old songs. The same me.

You’ve listened to the sound. So many times, for so many hours. And I have nothing to add. There’s no change. There’s nothing new.

Now my words has lost their value being kept on repeat. Like the birds of the dawn chorus. The ones we once held so dear. Now just a noise to another sunrise.

Or like the waves rolling carelessly over the beach. The hypnotic lullaby of deep summer nights and a roaring warning of winter storms. Now just the buzzing soundscape to an ever returning sunset

So I can not speak to you about this anymore. I have no more words. No other voice.

I’m on repeat. Like the waves down at the beach.
