The Art of A Table
Pedro Casanovas is woodworker of a particular sort. From his workshop in the Tramuntana highlands of Majorca, he builds fine art furniture from leftover materials and demolition woods, which he collects from all over Spain.
He is also a dear friend of mine, and when he asked me to portray his ongoing showroom exhibition a while ago, I did not hesitate.
“Unfortunately”, he is also very - very - productive. Which means we shot about 50 individual pieces of furniture, ending up with 323 new photos for his portfolio. Quite a day, quite a man, and quite the talent.
